Bike Park Fernie
Like many ski resorts in BC Fernie has a bike park. It is quite nice there since it is not busy compared to Whistler.

The chairlift broke down and I was sitting in the lift for over an hour. Since I hadn't much to do I took a couple of pics. When I finally got out of the chairlift they gave me a hot chocolate, a bit cheap I found. Well, should stop complaining.
Kerstin was waiting for me at the top, she hiked uphill. She got also a free hot chocolate even so she didn't pay a cent to get up. She also got a ride down in a pick up truck after she hiked to the top of the peaks in the back.

Skinnies, had to try it a view times before I managed to ride it.
There are two chairlift, since the high one broke I took the slow one.
At the end of the day, my bike, my car (our car, sorry) and my fancy hair style :-).
We visited Jo, a friend of us from New Zealand. She is doing a couple of seasons in Fernie.
